Philippe de pierpont
Philippe de Pierpont has directed numerous documentaries and feature films (La ville invisible, la vie est un jeu de cartes, …).
In 1995, he was the second assistant director for The Promise by the Brothers Dardenne. In 1999, he made his first short film, The Heir, which was selected in Venice Mostra Festival.
In 2012, he directed his first feature film, "She is not crying, she is singing" which has been selected to film festivals worldwide (such as Festival des films du Monde in Montréal and at the international film festival Mannheim-Heideberg in Germany). The outstanding performance of Erika Sainte in the leading role, was rewarded at the most prestigious belgian cinema ceremony, the Magritte du cinéma.
